Outsole Guarantee Terms & Conditions


Selected models of Ascent shoes are guaranteed against wearing through the outsole from normal day to day use for a period of six (6) calendar months from the date of purchase provided that the purchase of these shoes is registered online at www.ascentfootwear.com.au/outsole-guarantee within twenty one (21) days of their purchase. The Terms and Conditions below contain information regarding your rights and obligations and the rights and obligations of Dominion Cross Pty Ltd (the provider of the guarantee) in relation to the guarantee

THE PROVIDER’S OBLIGATIONS

The provider of the Outsole Wear Guarantee (the Guarantee) is Dominion Cross Pty Ltd, 2/68 Lisgar Street, Virginia QLD 4014. The provider of the Guarantee may be contacted by telephone on (07) 32 655 660 or via email at info@ascentfootwear.com.au.

Under the Guarantee, Dominion Cross Pty Ltd will replace shoes registered online within twenty one (21) days of purchase where the outsole of the shoe has worn through from ordinary use and not as a result of any activities that void the Guarantee, as defined in these Terms and Conditions.

Shoes returned to Dominion Cross Pty Ltd will be assessed and a determination made by an employee or representative of the company as to whether the outsole is worn and whether this wear is the result of ordinary use of the shoe. Shoes returned to the company assessed to have been used in activities that void the Guarantee are not entitled to the Guarantee. Where shoes are assessed by an employee or representative of the company to have worn as a result of ordinary use, a replacement pair of shoes will be provided.

Dominion Cross Pty Ltd will bear the expense of reply-paid postage for return of shoes under the Guarantee. All other costs associated with claiming and enforcing the guarantee are at the expense of you, the customer.



YOUR OBLIGATIONS

For the Guarantee to apply to shoes purchased by you, the shoes must be from the list of selected models and must be registered online at www.ascentfootwear.com.au/page/outsole-guarantee within twenty one (21) days of purchase.



ACTIVITIES THAT VOID THE GUARANTEE

Models of Ascent shoes to which the Guarantee applies are not guaranteed against wear through the outsole as a result of the following activities:

All of these activities will shorten the life span of the shoe. Should shoes returned to Dominion Cross Pty Ltd be assessed to have engaged in any of these activities, no replacement shoes will be provided, and the worn shoes will be returned to you.

If the rubber outsole wears through during the Guarantee period as a result of use other than the activities listed above and the purchase has been registered the product will be replaced.



RETURNING SHOES PURCHASED FROM THE ATHLETE’S FOOT STORE

If you purchased your shoes from The Athlete’s Foot and have registered your purchase online within twenty-one (21) days of purchase please take your shoes and the receipt back to the store of purchase. The shoes will then be assessed by the store, before potentially being sent back to the supplier for further assessment. If the shoes are replaced under the outsole guarantee, the new pair’s guarantee is valid from the original purchase date.



RETURNING SHOES PURCHASED ONLINE

If you purchased your shoes online from www.ascentfootwear.com.au and have registered your purchase online within twenty one (21) days of purchase please return them back to Dominion Cross Pty Ltd by following the procedure below:

  1. Sign in to your account at www.ascentfootwear.com.au/login with your email address and password that you joined with, and click 'My Account' in the upper right corner of the page.
  2. On the right-hand side of the page, you will see your order history. Click the order that you would like to refund/exchange, and then click the 'Refund/Exchange' button on the order details page.
  3. Complete the form, by selecting the shoe(s) you would like to return, and select the outsole guarantee as the reason for returning.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to package and post the shoes back to us.

The shoebox is just as important as the shoes, please do not alter it in any way, do not attach return form, tape or mark the box. Doing so may result in your return being rejected. If you require any assistance with the returns procedure, please contact info@ascentfootwear.com.au.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
