The best
The comfy, sterdy soles have me taking longer, stronger strides. I was walking in top brand sports shoes but the foam soles feel good in the shops and then quickly give no support within a few weeks. It took a bit to get used to the heavier shoe weight and stiff upper but now I haven’t looked back and my knees thank me. The water resistant upper keeps my socks dry in damp grass and shallow puddles too.

Love these shoes
I’m a nurse and after 3 pairs of the Avalon style I was very sad these no longer make them (in my size). I now have my first pair of this style and think they are great, so comfortable the only downside is the laces!

Fabulous for plantar fasciitis.

Also recommended by my Podriatrist. Perfect sizing. Great built in arch support and easy to insert my orthodics. Like walking on a very well supported cloud. Only comment is that the colour is more "peach" than beige- but I love them!!

Great support
Having plantar fasciitis for many years, I’ve had to buy expensive orthotics which I can no longer afford at $500.00 a set. Since finding Ascent shoes I no longer have to. The pressure relieving cutouts and the inner support of all their shoes now give me the support that I need. And on top of that the pace shoe is also very light reducing any leg aching, but I love the groove thongs the most. I haven’t been able to wear anything other than shoes that took my orthotics for years, these thongs have changed my life!

Good slides for narrow feet but the arch is excessive
The ascent groove sliders are quite good for narrow feet. I have very narrow feet, I usually wear size 12 shoes however due to the open end of these slides I can wear size 11 quite comfortably. I've worn size 11.5 B width shoes from ascent before and these are narrower than that, perhaps A width or AA width. The adjustable strap is awesome and very comfy. Well done there. I would say that they are almost *too* narrow and it feels a bit unsteady almost feels like the slides could roll out slightly underneath my feet because of how narrow they are. If the outer sole was a bit wider compared to the insole it would probably feel much more stable. I'll probably end up getting size 12 next time. My only complaint with these slides is that the arch is a bit too steep. I've worn a bunch of insoles and none I've tried really get close to how pronounced this arch is (except for the orthotics prescribed by my podiatrist). The arch just seems to stick out like a sore thumb compared to ascent's other shoes. Why don't their other shoes have an arch like this? Anyway, after extended periods of standing in these for a long time they begin to hurt my feet and I've had to use flatter slides from a different brand just for using my standing desk whereas I like using the ascent ones for walking and lifting weights.

These shoes are the real deal.
I purchased a pair of these for work on the advice of my podiatrist to fit my orthotics and I now own 4 pairs in different colours! I’m a registered nurse in a busy surgical ward and I do 10k+ steps every shift. I’ve had the same pair for work since July 2022 and I’ve only just retired them for a new pair. Excellent shoes for comfort and durability.

Amazing
I have owned a pair of these thongs for over three years. They are the highest quality thongs I have ever been able to find and made by an Australian company too! Initially they seem a little firm, but overtime the foam softens and conforms to the shape of your own foot. I have been so good for my planta fasciitis. The company has been a pleasure to deal with also, and I have not had any issues getting a refund for returning items that were not the right size. I recommend these to everyone I know. Well done Ascent!

Comfiest, longest lasting thongs ever
Just bought my second pair after my first pair finally wore out after 4 years and maybe 10 washes in the washing machine. Highly recommend.

Sturdy and Comfortable Boots
These boots are a very comfortable fit. Light in weight and sturdy. Very happy with this purchase and would be buying again once these are worn out. The customer service from Ascent was fantastic. Order was posted same day as purchase online. Thank you
