Endorsements

  • Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Endorsement

Outsole

  • 6 Month Outsole Guarantee

Benefit: Confidence that the perpetual rubber outsole will hold up to the toughest school activities.

What is it: Guarantee that the outsole will not wear through to the midsole within 6 months of purchase date.

Where is it: On the bottom of the shoe where it contacts the ground.

  • Perpetual Rubber™

Benefit: Hardest wearing material enhancing the durability and longevity of the shoe. Excellent traction between the shoe and the ground. Non-marking.

What is it: Specially formulated vulcanized rubber.

Where is it: On the bottom of the shoe where it contacts the ground.

Cushioning

  • Arch Support Insole (BUNGEE)

Benefit: Arch support insole with increased arch support and more cushioning. Removable, and so able to be replaced with orthotics if needed.

What is it: Specially formulated BUNGEE foam formed to cup around the heel and under the arch (thicker under the arch than our normal arch support insole providing more support). Holes distributed from the forefoot and around the arch, combined with channels moulded into the bottom of the insole promote airflow.

Where is it: Inside the shoe, directly under the foot.

  • BUNGEE™

Benefit: Provides great energy return over a long period, so that the spring stays in your step no matter how far you walk or run.

What is it: Bouncy elastic sponge material.

Where is it: Mostly used in the midsole (for a limited number of styles), or the insole.

Stability

  • Dual Density

Benefit: Restricts harmful over-pronation (foot rolling inwards and arch collapsing). On stability trainers, it also provides lateral stability (restricts ankle roll) in typical side-to-side motion dynamics in court and grass sports.

What is it: A firmer density midsole foam.

Where is it: Over-Pronation restricting dual density is on the medial part of the midsole of the shoe. Lateral support dual density extends from the medial arch, right around the heel to the lateral side of the midsole of the shoe.

  • Kinetic Matrix™

Benefit: A system of technologies combining to enhance gait efficiency and reduce fatigue to the foot and lower limbs.

What is it: Firm, lightweight sculpted EVA cradle, Full length BUNGEE cushioning and a thermoplastic heel stabiliser.

Where is it: The midsole of the shoe, which is the part under the foot, between the outsole and the upper.

  • Nylon Shank

Benefit: Supports the arch area of the foot, and prevents the shoe from bending in the wrong place (in the middle of the shoe). The shoe should naturally bend across the joints in the forefoot region.

What is it: A hardened nylon piece.

Where is it: Placed internally (in the sole) in the arch area of the shoe.

  • TR ExoFrame

Benefit: Supports the ankle and holds the heel firmly in place, providing excellent stability when the foot first strikes the ground. A firm heel counter is essential for fundamental support and stability.

What is it: Thermal Rubber material that is shaped to match the contours of your heel.

Where is it: Inside the upper part of the shoe, surrounding the back and sides of the heel.

Upper

  • Action Leather

Benefit: Natural feeling leather with added durability and water resistance.

What is it: Natural cowhide split leather with a PU surface coating for durability and water resistance.

Where is it: On the upper (top part)

  • Free Fit Lacing™

Benefit: Adjustability of fit around the forefoot for a perfect custom fit.

What is it: A floating eyeletstay (lacing area) construction that is not directly stitched to the vamp.

Where is it: On the upper of the shoe, in the forefoot near the first hole where the shoelaces begin.

  • tuf+™

Benefit: Hard wearing and resistant to scuffing

What is it: Abrasion resistant layer on the surface of synthetic leather.

Where is it: Around the front of the upper.
